Na podlagi tretjega odstavka 63. člena Zakona o zunanjih zadevah (Uradni list RS, št. 1/91-I) izdaja Vlada Republike Slovenije

O RATIFIKACIJI SPORAZUMA O VZPOSTAVITVI DIPLOMATSKIH ODNOSOV MED REPUBLIKO SLOVENIJO IN LIBANONOM
O RATIFIKACIJI SPORAZUMA O VZPOSTAVITVI DIPLOMATSKIH ODNOSOV MED REPUBLIKO SLOVENIJO IN LIBANONOM
1. člen
Ratificira se Sporazum o vzpostavitvi diplomatskih odnosov med Republiko Slovenijo in Libanonom, sklenjen z izmenjavo not z dne 24. junija 1993 in 29. julija 1993.
2. člen
Sporazum o vzpostavitvi diplomatskih odnosov med Republiko Slovenijo in Libanonom se v izvirniku v angleškem jeziku in prevodu v slovenskem jeziku glasi:

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lebanon and has the honour to inform the latter that the Republic of Slovenia suggests that diplomatic relations be established between the two countries.
The relations between the two countries shall be based on the objectives and principles of the Charter of the United Nations.
The provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 18 April 1961 and Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of 24 April 1963 shall apply to diplomatic and consular relations between the Republic of Slovenia and Lebanon.
If the foregoing proposals are acceptable to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lebanon, this note and the note in reply shall establish diplomatic relations between the Republic of Slovenia and Lebanon with immediate effect.
The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Lebanon the assurances of its highest consideration.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lebanon presents its compliments to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, and has the honour to acknowledge receipt of the latter's note n°: 921-84-28/93 dated June 24, 1993, which reads as follows:
»The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lebanon and has the honour to inform the latter that the Republic of Slovenia suggests that diplomatic relations be established between the two countries.

The Government of Lebanon welcomes the proposal to establish diplomatic relations with the Republic of Slovenia and agrees on the content of the above mentioned note.
