o razglasitvi Zakona o ratifikaciji Sporazuma med Vlado Republike Slovenije in Vlado Švedske o prenehanju veljavnosti Sporazuma med Vlado Republike Slovenije in Vlado Kraljevine Švedske o spodbujanju in medsebojni zaščiti naložb s protokolom (BPVSESZN)

Razglašam Zakon o ratifikaciji Sporazuma med Vlado Republike Slovenije in Vlado Švedske o prenehanju veljavnosti Sporazuma med Vlado Republike Slovenije in Vlado Kraljevine Švedske o spodbujanju in medsebojni zaščiti naložb s protokolom (BPVSESZN), ki ga je sprejel Državni zbor Republike Slovenije na seji dne 13. julija 2021.

O RATIFIKACIJI SPORAZUMA MED VLADO REPUBLIKE SLOVENIJE IN VLADO ŠVEDSKE O PRENEHANJU VELJAVNOSTI SPORAZUMA MED VLADO REPUBLIKE SLOVENIJE IN VLADO KRALJEVINE ŠVEDSKE O SPODBUJANJU IN MEDSEBOJNI ZAŠČITI NALOŽB S PROTOKOLOM (BPVSESZN)

1. člen

Ratificira se Sporazum med Vlado Republike Slovenije in Vlado Švedske o prenehanju veljavnosti Sporazuma med Vlado Republike Slovenije in Vlado Kraljevine Švedske o spodbujanju in medsebojni zaščiti naložb s protokolom, sklenjen z izmenjavo not 10. septembra 2020.

2. člen

Sporazum se v izvirniku v angleškem jeziku in prevodu v slovenskem jeziku glasi: Ministrstvo za zunanje zadeve Švedske izraža svoje odlično spoštovanje Ministrstvu za zunanje zadeve Republike Slovenije in ima čast predlagati sklenitev naslednjega sporazuma. Sporazum med Vlado Švedske in Vlado Republike Slovenije o prenehanju veljavnosti Sporazuma med Vlado Kraljevine Švedske in Vlado Republike Slovenije o spodbujanju in medsebojni zaščiti naložb s protokolom (ta sporazum).

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Sweden presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia and has the honour to propose the conclusion of the following agreement.

Agreement between the Government of Sweden and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia on the termination of the Agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Sweden and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia on the Promotion and mutual Protection of Investments with Protocol (the Agreement)

1. The Agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Sweden and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia on the Promotion and mutual Protection of Investments with Protocol, signed in Stockholm on 5 October 1999, shall be terminated.

2. For greater certainty, the Parties to the Agreement agree that Article 13.3 in the agreement mentioned in paragraph 1, which extends the protection of investment made prior to the date of termination, shall be terminated and shall thus not produce any legal effects after the entry into force of this Agreement.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Sweden proposes that in case the Government of the Republic of Slovenia accepts the above mentioned proposal, this note together with the reply note from the Government of the Republic of Slovenia shall constitute the Agreement.

The Agreement shall enter into force on the date of the receipt of the notification by the Government of the Republic of Slovenia of the completion of its respective internal procedures.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia the assurances of its highest consideration.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia presents its compliments to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Sweden and has the honour to confirm the receipt of the Ministry's Note of 18 June 2020 stating the following:

"The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Sweden presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia and has the honour to propose the conclusion of the following agreement.

Agreement between the Government of Sweden and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia on the termination of the Agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Sweden and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia on the Promotion and mutual Protection of Investments with Protocol (the Agreement)

1. The Agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Sweden and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia on the Promotion and mutual Protection of Investments with Protocol, signed in Stockholm on 5 October 1999, shall be terminated.

2. The Government of the Republic of Slovenia accepts the above mentioned proposal, so that the above mentioned Ministry›s note and this note in reply constitute the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and the Government of Sweden on the termination of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and the Government of the Kingdom of Sweden on the Promotion and mutual Protection of Investments with Protocol, which shall enter into force on the date of the receipt of the notification by the Government of the Republic of Slovenia of the completion of its respective internal procedures.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Sweden the assurances of its highest consideration.
