Na podlagi tretjega odstavka 63. člena zakona o zunanjih zadevah (Uradni list RS, št. 1/91-I) izdaja Vlada Republike Slovenije
UREDBO
o ratifikaciji protokola med Republiko Slovenijo in Državo Izrael o vzpostavitvi diplomatskih odnosov

1. člen

Ratificira se protokol med Republiko Slovenijo in Državo Izrael o vzpostavitvi diplomatskih odnosov, podpisan dne 28. aprila 1992 v Jeruzalemu v angleškem in hebrejskem jeziku.

2. člen

Protokol se v izvirniku v angleškem jeziku* in slovenskem prevodu glasi:

PROTOCOL
between the Republic of Slovenia and the State of Israel regarding the establishment of Diplomatic Relations

The Republic of Slovenia and the State of Israel (hereafter the Parties),

Guided by the desire to strengthen and develop relations between the two countries in accordance with the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations,

have agreed as follows:

Article 1

Slovenia and Israel will establish diplomatic relations with each other on the day this Protocol enters into force and will exchange diplomatic representatives at ambassadorial level as soon as possible.

Article 2

The Parties to this Protocol agree that the provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 18 April 1961 shall apply to diplomatic relations between them.

Article 3

The Parties to this Protocol agree that the relevant provisions of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of 24 April 1963 shall apply to consular relations between them.

Article 4

This Protocol enters into force upon signature.

This Protocol is signed in duplicate in the English and Hebrew languages, both texts being equally authentic.

Done at Jerusalem on 28 April 1992, which corresponds to the 25th Day of Nisan 5752.
