Sporazum se v izvirniku v slovenskem in angleškem jeziku glasi:
S P O R A Z U M <BR>MED REPUBLIKO SLOVENIJO IN KRALJEVINO TONGO O VZPOSTAVITVI DIPLOMATSKIH ODNOSOV
Republika Slovenija in Kraljevina Tonga,
sta se, v želji, da bi okrepili in razvili odnose med državama v skladu s cilji in načeli Ustanovne listine Združenih narodov,
sporazumeli o naslednjem:
Slovenija in Tonga bosta vzpostavila diplomatske odnose na ravni veleposlanikov z dnem, ko prične veljati ta sporazum.
Pogodbenici se strinjata, da bodo za diplomatske odnose med njima veljala določila Dunajske konvencije o diplomatskih odnosih z dne 18. aprila 1961.
Pogodbenici se strinjata, da bodo za konzularne odnose med njima veljala določila Dunajske konvencije o konzularnih odnosih z dne 24. aprila 1963.
Ta sporazum prične veljati ob podpisu.
Sestavljeno v slovenskem in angleškem jeziku, v Londonu, dne 7. decembra 1995.

A G R E E M E N T <BR>BETWEEN THE REPUBLIC OF SLOVENIA AND THE KINGDOM OF TONGA REGARDING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS
The Republic of Slovenia and the Kingdom of Tonga,
guided by a desire to strengthen and develop relations between the two countries in accordance with the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations,
have agreed as follows:
Article 1
Slovenia and Tonga will establish diplomatic relations at the Ambassadorial level with each other on the day this Agreement enters into force.
Article 2
The Parties to this Agreement agree that the provisions of Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 18 April 1961 shall apply to diplomatic relations between them.
Article 3
The Parties to this Agreement agree that the provisions of Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of 24 April 1963 shall apply to consular relations between them.
Article 4
This Agreement enters into force upon signature.
