Sporazum se v izvirniku v angleškem in v prevodu v slovenskem jeziku glasi:
AGREEMENT <BR>between <BR>the Republic of Austria, <BR>the Republic of Bulgaria, <BR>the Republic of Croatia, <BR>the Czech Republic, <BR>the Republic of Hungary, <BR>the Republic of Poland, <BR>the Republic of Romania, <BR>the Slovak Republic <BR>and <BR>the Republic of Slovenia
hereinafter called ˝Contracting Parties˝, on the prolongation of the CEEPUS Program as laid down in the Agreement signed in Budapest on December 8, 1993.
The Contracting Parties,
taking into account the result of the review process, that has established that there is an urgent need that the program be prolonged in its current form, based on Art. 7, para.1 of the above mentioned Agreement
hereby agree:
Single Article
1.) The CEEPUS Program, as laid in the Agreement signed in Budapest on December 8, 1993 shall be prolonged for the period from January 1, 2000 to December 31, 2004.
2.) This Agreement requires the acceptance of each of the Contracting Parties in accordance with their constitutional requirements.
3.) The original of the present Agreement, of which the English text is authentic, shall be deposited with the Depositary.
4.) This Agreement enters into force on the first day of the third month after the last of the Conctracting Parties has deposited its document of approval with the Depositary.
Done at Budapest, Hungary, on the seventh day of February one thousand nine hundred and ninety eight.

v nadaljevanju ˝pogodbenice˝, o podaljšanju programa CEEPUS, ki je bil opredeljen v sporazumu, podpisanem v Budimpešti 8. decembra 1993.
postopka pregleda uresničevanja sporazuma, v katerem so ugotovili, da je nujno podaljšati program v njegovi sedanji obliki,
na osnovi 1. točke 7. člena zgoraj omenjenega sporazuma dogovorijo:
1.) Program CEEPUS, opredeljen v sporazumu, ki je bil podpisan 8. decembra 1993 v Budimpešti, se podaljša za obdobje od 1. januarja 2000 do 31. decembra 2004.
2.) Vsaka pogodbenica mora ta sporazum odobriti v skladu s svojimi ustavnimi določili.
3.) Izvirnik tega sporazuma, ki je v angleščini, bo shranjen pri depozitarju.
4.) Ta sporazum stopi v veljavo prvega dne tretjega meseca, potem ko zadnja pogodbenica pri depozitarju shrani svojo listino o odobritvi.
Sestavljeno v Budimpešti na Madžarskem sedmega februarja leta tisoč devetsto osemindevetdeset.
