Na podlagi tretjega odstavka 63. člena zakona o zunanjih zadevah (Uradni list RS, št. 1/91-I) izdaja Vlada Republike Slovenije
UREDBO
o ratifikaciji sporazuma o vzpostavitvi diplomatskih odnosov med Republiko Slovenijo in Republiko Madžarsko

1. člen

Ratificira se sporazum o vzpostavitvi diplomatskih odnosov med Republiko Slovenijo in Republiko Madžarsko, sklenjen z izmenjavo not z dne 15. in 16. januarja 1992.

2. člen

Sporazum se v izvirniku v angleškem jeziku in slovenskem prevodu glasi:

The Consulate General of the Republic of Hungary presents its compliments to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia and

guided by the desire to further develop the relations between the Republic of Hungary and the Republic of Slovenia based on historic traditions,

being convinced that this act will contribute to the peace, security and stability of Europe, as well as to the realization of the principles enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations, the Helsinki Final Act of 1975 and the Charter of Paris,

wishing to encourage the broadening of the friendly relations between their peoples,

has the honour to propose the establishment of diplomatic relations at ambassadorial level between the Republic of Hungary and the Republic of Slovenia.

The Consulate General of the Republic of Hungary further has the honour to propose to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia that if the above is acceptable to the Republic of Slovenia this Note and the Ministry's for Foreign Affairs Note reply thereto shall constitute an agreement between the Republic of Hungary and the Republic of Slovenia with the effective date of the receipt of the reply of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia.

The Consulate General of the Republic of Hungary avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Ministry of the Republic of Slovenia the assurances of its highest consideration.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia presents its compliments to the General Consulate of the Republic of Hungary in Zagreb and has the honour to confirm the receipt of its erung der Republik 15, 1992.

Guided by the same desire for further development of the relations between our two countries based on positive historical traditions, we are accepting the proposal of the immediate establishment of the diplomatic relations.

We also agree with the exchange of the diplomatical envoys in the rank of ambassadors.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia avails itself of this opportunity to express to the General Consulate of the Republic of Hungary the assurances of its highest consideration.
