2. člen

Skupno sporočilo se v izvirniku v angleškem jeziku in v slovenskem prevodu glasi:

Joint Communique
Concerning the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Indonesia

The Government of the Republic of Slovenia and the Government of the Republic of Indonesia.

Desiring to promote and strengthen ties of friendship and cooperation between their countries and peoples on the basis of equality, mutual respect for each other's sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity as well as non-interference in the internal affairs of each other;

Guided by the principles and purposes of the Charter of the United Nations and the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961;

Have decided to establish diplomatic relations at ambassadorial level as of the date of the signing of this Joint Communique;

The accreditation of their respective ambassadors will be the subject of further agreement.

Skupno sporočilo <br /> o vzpostavitvi diplomatskih odnosov med Republiko Slovenijo in Republiko Indonezijo

Vlada Republike Slovenije in Vlada Republike Indonezije, sta

v želji, da okrepita in poglobita prijateljstvo in sodelovanje med obema državama in narodoma na osnovi enakosti, medsebojnega spoštovanja suverenosti, neodvisnosti in ozemeljske celovitosti ter vzajemnega nevmešavanja v notranje zadeve,

ob spoštovanju načel in ciljev Listine Združenih narodov ter Dunajske konvencije o diplomatskih odnosih iz leta 1961,

sklenili, da vzpostavita diplomatske odnose na ravni veleposlaništev z dnem podpisa skupnega sporočila.

Akreditacija veleposlanikov obeh držav bo predmet nadaljnjega dogovarjanja.
