O RATIFIKACIJI DODATNEGA PROTOKOLA ŠT. 14 K SREDNJEEVROPSKEMU
SPORAZUMU O PROSTI TRGOVINI

TO THE CENTRAL EUROPEAN FREE TRADE AGREEMENT
Representatives of the Republic of Bulgaria, the Republic of Croatia, the Czech Republic, the Republic of Hungary, the Republic of Poland, Romania, the Slovak Republic and the Republic of Slovenia (hereinafter called the Parties);
Reaffirming their commitment to the principles of a market economy, which constitutes the basis for their relations,
Recalling their intention to eliminate progressively the obstacles to substantially all their mutual trade,
In accordance with the provisions of Articles 34, 35, 37 and 39 of the Central European Free Trade Agreement,
Have decided as follows:
Article 1
1. Protocol 4 to the Central European Free Trade Agreement concerning the exchange of agricultural concessions between the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic on the one side and the Republic of Hungary on the other side shall be supplemented by new Paragraphs 3a and 4a, which shall be read as follows:
”3a Customs duties on imports applicable in the Czech Republic and in the Slovak Republic to products originating in the Republic of Hungary listed in Annex C1 to this Protocol shall be reduced without quantitative limits or within the limits of quotas specified in Annex C1 to the level set out in Annex C1 as from 15 July 2003.”
”4a Customs duties on imports applicable in the Republic of Hungary to products originating in the Czech Republic or in the Slovak Republic listed in Annex D1 to this Protocol shall be reduced without quantitative limits or within the limits of quotas specified in Annex D1 to the level set out in Annex D1 as from 15 July 2003.”
2. Annex 1 and Annex 2 to this Additional Protocol are hereby established and being attached to Protocol 4 as Annexes C1 and D1 and are integral part thereof.
Article 2
Annex C to Protocol 4 to the Central European Free Trade Agreement shall be amended as follows:
(a) The following tariff numbers and the entries to them shall be deleted:

Article 3

Article 4
This Additional Protocol shall constitute an integral part of the Central European Free Trade Agreement.
Article 5
1. This Additional Protocol shall enter into force on the sixtieth day from the date of receiving by the Depositary of the last notification of the Parties of the completion of procedures necessary for that purpose.
2. The Depositary shall notify all Parties of the completion of procedures necessary for the entry into force of this Additional Protocol.
3. If this Additional Protocol does not enter into force by 15 July 2003 it shall be applied provisionally between the Czech Republic and the Republic of Hungary and between the Slovak Republic and the Republic of Hungary from that date.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the undersigned plenipotentiaries being duly authorised thereto, have signed this Additional Protocol.
Done at Bled this 4 day of July 2003 in a single authentic copy in the English language, which shall be deposited with the Government of the Republic of Poland. The Depositary shall transmit certified copies of this Additional Protocol to all Parties to the Central European Free Trade Agreement.
