19. Uredba o ratifikaciji sporazuma o vzpostavitvi diplomatskih odnosov med Republiko Slovenijo z Združenim kraljestvom Velike Britanije in Severne Irske

Na podlagi tretjega odstavka 63. člena zakona o zunanjih zadevah (Uradni list RS, št. 1/91-I) izdaja Vlada Republike Slovenije

UREDBO
o ratifikaciji sporazuma o vzpostavitvi diplomatskih odnosov med Republiko Slovenijo in Združenim kraljestvom Velike Britanije in Severne Irske

Ratificira se sporazum o vzpostavitvi diplomatskih odnosov med Republiko Slovenijo in Združenim kraljestvom Velike Britanije in Severne Irske, sklenjen z izmenjavo not z dne 15. in 17. januarja 1992.

Sporazum se v izvirniku v angleškem jeziku in slovenskem prevodu glasi:

Her Majesty's Principal Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs presents his compliments to the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia and has the honour to refer to the British Prime Minister's letter of 15 January 1992 which confirmed British recognition of the Republic of Slovenia.

The Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs has the honour to propose the establishment of diplomatic relations between the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Republic of Slovenia, with immediate effect upon receipt of confirmation that this is acceptable to the Government of the Republic of Slovenia.

Her Majesty's Principal Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs avails himself of this opportunity to the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia his sincere respects and personal good wishes.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia presents its compliments to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and has the honour to express its gratitude for the decision of Her Majesty's Government on recognition of the Republic of Slovenia, which was transmitted by the note of His Excellency, the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, of 15 January 1992.

The Ministry fully agrees with the proposal for the establishment of diplomatic relations between our two countries, with immediate effect. We also propose the exchange of diplomatic envoys on the level of ambassadors.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia avails itself of this opportunity to present to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office the assurances of its highest consideration.
