O RATIFIKACIJI SPORAZUMA MED VLADO REPUBLIKE SLOVENIJE IN VLADO REPUBLIKE TURČIJE O VZAJEMNI ODPRAVI VIZUMOV ZA IMETNIKE DIPLOMATSKIH, POSEBNIH ALI SLUŽBENIH POTNIH LISTOV

1. člen

Ratificira se Sporazum med Vlado Republike Slovenije in Vlado Republike Turčije o vzajemni odpravi vizumov za imetnike diplomatskih, posebnih ali službenih potnih listov, podpisan dne 29. novembra 1999 v Ankari.

2. člen

Sporazum se v izvirniku v angleškem jeziku in v prevodu v slovenskem jeziku glasi:
A G R E E M E N T
BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF SLOVENIA AND THE GOVERMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF TURKEY CONCERNING THE MUTUAL ABOLITION OF VISAS FOR HOLDERS OF DIPLOMATIC, SPECIAL OR SERVICE PASSPORTS

The Government of the Republic of Slovenia and the Government of the Republic of Turkey (hereinafter referred to as the »Contracting Parties«):
    Desiring to further promote the development of friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries;
    Have agreed as follows:

Article 1

The citizens of either Contracting Party holding valid diplomatic, special or service passports may travel to and stay in the territory of the other Contracting Party for a period not exceeding 90 days within 6 months from the date of the first entry without obtaining a visa prior to their journeys.

Article 2

1. The citizens of either Contracting Party holding valid diplomatic, special or service passports who are accredited to the diplomatic or consular missions of that Contracting Party in the territory of the other Contracting Party and the members of their families holding valid diplomatic, special or service passports may travel to and stay for the period of their assignments in that territory without obtaining a visa prior to their journeys.
    2. The provisions of paragraph 1 of this Article shall also apply to the citizens of either Contracting Party holding valid diplomatic, special or service passports, who are appointed to the international organizations in the territory of the other Contracting Party and to members of their families holding valid diplomatic, special or service passports.
    Each such accreditation or appointment by a Contracting Party shall be notified to the other Contracting Party through diplomatic channels.

Article 3

1. The Contracting Parties shall exchange specimens of their valid diplomatic, special or service passports through diplomatic channels within 30 days after the signing of this Agreement.
    2. If either Contracting Party modifies any of the above mentioned passports, it shall provide its specimens to the other Contracting Party at least 60 days before they are introduced.

Article 4

The citizens of either Contracting Party shall enter or exit the territory of the other Contracting Party only at points of entry designated for international passenger traffic.

Article 5

This Agreement does not exempt the citizens of either Contracting Party from the obligation to observe the laws and/or the regulations in force in the territory of the other Contracting Party.

Article 6

The Contracting Parties reserve the right to refuse the entry of the persons considered undesirable as well as reserve the right to shorten or terminate the stay of such persons.

Article 7

Either Contracting Party may temporarily suspend the application of this Agreement as a whole or in part for reasons of national security, public health or public order. Such suspension of this Agreement shall be notified immediately to the other Contracting Party through diplomatic channels.

Article 8

Any amendment to this Agreement agreed upon by the Contracting Parties shall be invoked by exchange of Notes.

Article 9

1. This Agreement shall enter into force on 01. 01. 2000.
    2. This Agreement is concluded for an indefinite period of time and excluding the provisions of the Article 7, shall remain in force until the 60th day after the date of the receipt of the notification on which one of the Contracting Parties informs in writing the other Contracting Party of its intention to terminate it.
    IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the undersigned, being duly authorized by their respective Governments, have signed this Agreement.
    Done in duplicate at Ankara on 29th November 1999, in English language.

S P O R A Z U M
MED VLADO REPUBLIKE SLOVENIJE IN VLADO REPUBLIKE TURČIJE O VZAJEMNI ODPRAVI VIZUMOV ZA IMETNIKE DIPLOMATSKIH, POSEBNIH ALI SLUŽBENIH POTNIH LISTOV
Vlada Republike Slovenije in Vlada Republike Turčije (v nadaljevanju »pogodbenici«) sta se
v želji, da še naprej spodbujata razvoj prijateljskih odnosov in sodelovanja med državama,
dogovorili naslednje:

1. člen

Državljani ene pogodbenice, imetniki veljavnih diplomatskih, posebnih ali službenih potnih listov, lahko potujejo na ozemlje druge pogodbenice in tam ostanejo največ 90 dni v šestih mesecih od dne prvega vstopa, ne da bi pred potovanjem pridobili vizum.
