o razglasitvi zakona o ratifikaciji sporazuma med Republiko Slovenijo in Malto o ukinitvi vizumov
Razglaša se zakon o ratifikaciji sporazuma med Republiko Slovenijo in Malto o ukinitvi vizumov, ki ga je sprejela Skupščina Republike Slovenije na seji Družbenopolitičnega zbora dne 23. julija 1992, na seji Zbora občin dne 22. julija 1992 in na seji Zbora združenega dela dne 29. julija 1992.

ZAKON
O RATIFIKACIJI SPORAZUMA MED REPUBLIKO SLOVENIJO IN MALTO O UKINITVI VIZUMOV

1. člen

Ratificira se sporazum med Republiko Slovenijo in Malto o ukinitvi vizumov, ki je bil podpisan v Ljubljani dne 29. junija 1992.

2. člen

Sporazum se v izvirniku v angleškem jeziku in slovenskem prevodu glasi:

AGREEMENT
between the Republic of Slovenia and Malta on abolition of Visas

Article 1

Slovenian citizens holding valid passports of the Republic of Slovenia shall be free to enter Malta at any authorized border crossing point and to stay in Malta for a period not exceeding three months without being required to obtain a visa.

Article 2

Citizens of Malta holding valid passports of Malta shall be free to enter Slovenia at any authorized border crossing point and to stay in Slovenia for a period not exceeding three months without required to obtain a visa.

Article 3

It is understood that the waiver of the visa requirement does not exempt persons benefiting under this Agreement from the necessity of complying with the laws and regulations in force in the respective countries concerning entry, residence – temporary or permanent -and work.

Article 4

Both Parties will exchange specimen of the valid passports before the Agreement shall enter into force. If a new passport be introduced by either Party, the other Party shall be notified of it with a specimen, not later than thirty days before the introduction of the new passport.

Article 5

The authorities of each country reserve the right to refuse permission to enter or stay in the country to persons considered undesirable.

Article 6

The authorities of each country undertake to readmit without formality, in to its territory, any of its citizens.

Article 7

Either Government may temporarily suspend the foregoing provisions in whole or in part, except Article 6 thereof, for reasons of public order. Such suspension shall be notified immediately to the other Government through diplomatic channels.

Article 8

The present Agreement shall enter into force on 6. August 1992. The Agreement may be denounced by either Government by notification in writing, the denunciation taking effect one month after the date of the notification.
